PSETRAP
PUBLIC SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT TRAINING PROGRAM (PSETRAP) is designed by the UMJ MEDIA CONCEPT to train the students in Acting, Dance and Voice (Singing) and to support the effort of the Government, Commissioner, Minister and Ministry of Education in building quality and relevance Secondary educational system in all public schools Nationwide.
PSETRAP is further established to serve as an appetizer for attracting the children, teenagers and youths back to school in other to partake in the program (Dance, Acting and Voice (Singing).

To be the major media company, supporting the Government in building quality educational system in Nigeria and Africa.
MISSION OF PSETRAP
To empower students of Public Secondary Schools in Dance, Acting and Voice (Singing), through strategic training, exhibition and production.
PURPOSE OF PSETRAP
The main purpose of PSETRAP is to train and empower Public Secondary School Students in Acting, Dance and Voice (Singing) and to ensure that children/teenagers and youths develops passion for education, especially the disadvantage target group (students from low income earners) to be useful and productive to themselves, their families and the Government without been a burden and miscreant to the society.
PSETRAP TRAINING CATEGORIES
• PSETRAP has the following training categories;
• PSETRAP Basic Certificate
• PSETRAP Advanced Certificate
PSETRAP BASIC CERTIFICATE
The PSETRAP Basic Certificate is design for Junior Secondary School Students from JSS 1 to JSS3; participating students will undergo the training in any of the three (3) department of their choice (Dance, Acting and Voice). Participants will be awarded with PSETRAP BASIC CERTIFICATE at the end of the program.
PSETRAP ADVANCED CERTIFICATE
The PSETRAP BASIC CERTIFICATE qualifies a student to undergo the Advanced Certificate Training which is designed for Senior Secondary School Students i.e. SS 1 and SS 2, and will obtain an Advanced Certificate at the end of the training program alongside with their Senior Secondary School Certificate.
BOTH THE BASIC AND ADVANCED CERTIFICATE WILL BE ENDORSED BY THE STATE GOVERNMENT THROUGH THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION

PSETRAP COMPETITION PROGRAM
Competition will be organized as follows;
Zonal/Local Competition
State Competition
National Competition
Zonal/Local Competition: the Zonal and Local level competition comprises of all the PSETRAP zones in the state having a friendly competition with consolation prizes to be won
State Competition: in this competition, the best zones of each Local Government will represent their Local Government at the state level competition where mega prizes will be awarded to winners and consolation prizes to other participants
National Competition: the best of each state will represent their state at the national level where the winners will be awarded with grand mega awards to their states, their local government and their zones.
PSETRAP MODE OF OPERATION
Registration to PSETRAP is FREE
PSETRAP will run in-line with the school curricular activities and calendar

PSETRAP is run in partnership with the State and Federal Government through the Federal and State Ministry of Education therefore it cannot admit non-students. The first stage of the training is auditioning the students to select fifteen (15) students per department, giving a total of 45 students per class Students that passed the audition will register themselves for the training while the ones who could not make it’ will have to wait for the next batch on their next school session.
The training program is scheduled to run on Saturdays between 10am to 2pm every week.
The participating students will be provided with training kits, PSETRAP Identity Cards, Practical/Examination Materials
Certificate of participation will be awarded to all participating students at the end of the training program which will be endorsed by the State Government through the Ministry of Education.
PSETRAP Television Program will be hosted in respect of PSETRAP to update the Government, Ministry of Education, Parents, Sponsors and general public about the progress of the training program.
Special prizes and awards will be given to most outstanding students in their different department.
Becoming most outstanding student in any department has to do with participant’s performance in his/her academic activities and the training program.
There would be talent exhibition and competition programs where the Government, Ministry of Education, Sponsors/Partners, Parents and the public will be invited to watch live performances of the participating students in all departments.
The Government, Ministry of Education, Sponsors/Partners, Parents and the public will have the opportunity to express their views/feeling and observation towards the progress of the training program during the exhibition program and media interviews.
In all the competitions there would be awards to the best performed students and the schools that produces outstanding students in the state competition and also award for outstanding states at the national competition.
Training instructors will be recruited within the state to support the state government in job creation.
